History

Neimann Keramik is a family-based company, where the love for good potter's craftsmanship stands in the center.

Neimann Keramik was founded by Annette Neimann and Niels Hvid Neimann, who met at the Crafts School in Sønderborg in 1979.

With a professional and educational background at, among other things Appenæs Pottery, Northrup and Bing & Grøndahl, Annette and Niels moved to Over Vindinge near Vordingborg and established their own workshop in 1982.

Here they founded Hvids Keramik and developed a larger range of tableware, pot holders etc., which were both sold locally from the workshop shop in Vordingborg and to the Norwegian market in Oslo. Now, after a major renovation, the premises in the old pottery have been given new life, and the doors have been opened again.

Neimann Keramik is a member of the Danish Crafts and Design Association.
